Managing Issued Credentials

After issuing credentials, you can manage and monitor them through your Skippy ID dashboard. This guide covers all the management features available for issued credentials.

Viewing Credentials

Credentials Dashboard

The credentials dashboard provides an overview of all issued credentials:

  1. Navigate to Credentials: Go to the "Credentials" section in your project

  2. View List: See all credentials issued in your project

  3. Credential Details: Each credential shows:

    • Recipient email and name

    • Credential type/template

    • Current state

    • Issue date

    • Expiration date

    • Delivery method

Filtering Credentials

Filter credentials by various criteria:

  1. By State: Filter by issuance state (Created, Issued, Completed, Error)

  2. By Template: Filter by credential template type

  3. By Date Range: Filter by issue date or expiration date

  4. By Recipient: Search by recipient email or name

  5. By Status: Filter by active, expired, or revoked status

Searching Credentials

Search for specific credentials:

  • Recipient Email: Search by recipient's email address

  • Credential ID: Search by unique credential identifier

  • Attributes: Search by credential attribute values

  • Keywords: Search across all credential fields

Viewing Credential Details

Credential Information

View complete credential information:

  1. Basic Information:

    • Credential ID

    • Template name

    • Issue date

    • Expiration date

    • Current state

  2. Recipient Information:

    • Email address

    • Name

    • Contact information

  3. Credential Attributes:

    • All attribute values

    • Attribute types

    • Required vs optional attributes

  4. Issuance History:

    • Complete state transition history

    • Timestamps for each state change

    • Delivery information

Credential State History

View the complete state transition history:

  • State Timeline: See all states the credential has passed through

  • Timestamps: When each state change occurred

  • Duration: How long the credential spent in each state

  • Events: Any events or actions that triggered state changes

Managing Credential States

Resending Offers

If a recipient hasn't claimed their credential:

  1. Find Credential: Locate the credential in your dashboard

  2. Check State: Verify it's in "Offer Created" or "Offer Retrieved" state

  3. Resend Offer: Click "Resend Offer" button

  4. Choose Method: Select delivery method (email, link, QR code)

  5. Confirm: Confirm resend action

Tracking Progress

Monitor credential issuance progress:

  • State Indicators: Visual indicators show current state

  • Progress Bar: See overall progress through issuance process

  • Time Estimates: Estimated time remaining (if applicable)

  • Alerts: Notifications for stuck or failed credentials

Revoking Credentials

When to Revoke

Revoke credentials when:

  • Employee leaves organization

  • Credential is no longer valid

  • Security concerns arise

  • Credential information is incorrect

  • Compliance requirements change

How to Revoke

  1. Find Credential: Locate the credential to revoke

  2. Open Details: Click to view credential details

  3. Revoke Action: Click "Revoke Credential" button

  4. Provide Reason: Enter reason for revocation (optional)

  5. Confirm: Confirm revocation action

Revocation Effects

After revoking a credential:

  • Credential status changes to "Revoked"

  • Credential is no longer valid for verification

  • Recipient is notified (if configured)

  • Revocation is recorded in credential history

  • Credential cannot be unrevoked (new credential must be issued)

Credential Analytics

Overview Statistics

View statistics about your credentials:

  • Total Issued: Total number of credentials issued

  • Active Credentials: Number of currently active credentials

  • Claimed Rate: Percentage of credentials that have been claimed

  • Average Claim Time: Average time from offer to claim

  • State Distribution: Breakdown of credentials by state

Performance Metrics

Track credential issuance performance:

  • Success Rate: Percentage of successful issuances

  • Failure Rate: Percentage of failed issuances

  • Claim Rate: Percentage of credentials claimed by recipients

  • Time to Claim: Average time for recipients to claim credentials

  • Error Rate: Frequency of errors during issuance

Export Data

Export credential data for analysis:

  1. Select Credentials: Choose credentials to export

  2. Apply Filters: Apply any filters or search criteria

  3. Export Format: Choose export format (CSV, JSON)

  4. Download: Download the exported file

Bulk Operations

Bulk Actions

Perform actions on multiple credentials:

  1. Select Credentials: Select multiple credentials using checkboxes

  2. Choose Action: Select action to perform:

    • Resend offers

    • Export data

    • Revoke credentials

    • Update attributes (if supported)

  3. Confirm: Confirm bulk action

  4. Monitor: Monitor progress of bulk operation

Batch Management

Manage credential batches:

  • View Batches: See all bulk issuance batches

  • Batch Details: View details of each batch

  • Batch Status: Check overall batch status

  • Individual Items: View individual credentials in batch

Notifications and Alerts

Email Notifications

Receive email notifications for:

  • Credential issued successfully

  • Credential claimed by recipient

  • Credential revoked

  • Errors during issuance

Configure webhooks for:
